His responsibility covers the product line PRIMERGY with the current segments Tower/Allround, Rack and Blade. In this responsibility he heads the German and Japanese x86 Server hardware and software engineering departments, as well as product related Quality Assurance, Product Marketing and Product Management functions for this global portfolio. Jens-Peter has over twenty one years of experience in the UNIX, high-end server, x86 server, services and enterprise resource market. After completing studies in electrical engineering and information processing at the University of Applied Sciences in Germany, Jens-Peter joined Nixdorf Computer AG in 1988. Through the transformation of the company to Fujitsu Siemens Computers, he held various positions from Quality Division, Services through to Marketing for ERP solutions. With the foundation of Fujitsu Siemens Computers in 1999 he led the UNIX business management at Fujitsu Siemens Computers, before he took over the x86 Server segment in EMEA in 2006.
